No.
And this is where things get particularly interesting.
GotBackup also operates a reseller/affiliate opportunity.
The basic concept is straightforward:
You use or recommend the GotBackup service.
Someone joins through your referral link.
You can earn commissions from eligible sales and subscriptions.
And, if you want to take things further, you can build a team of other resellers.
According to GotBackup’s current business FAQ, resellers can either focus on referring customers or build a reseller organisation for additional residual and bonus opportunities.
So there are really two sides to the business.
1. The Customer Side
You recommend a genuine backup service to people who need it.
2. The Business Side
You can introduce people who are interested in becoming resellers themselves.

What Does a GotBackup Reseller Actually Do?
This is probably the question most people have.
Do you need to become a professional salesperson?
Do you need to build a complicated website?
Do you need to create advertising campaigns every day?
According to GotBackup, the business opportunity includes a done-for-you marketing system designed to help with much of this.
The company says the system can provide social-media content, automated posting, capture pages, sales pages, follow-up tools and other marketing resources.
The idea is that you connect your social-media accounts and allow the system to handle much of the routine content distribution.
When someone shows interest, your job is to respond and direct them towards the appropriate information.
That doesn’t mean you can simply switch everything on and forget about it.
GotBackup itself makes it clear that income isn’t guaranteed and that resellers still need to participate, respond to prospects and remain consistent.
That’s an important distinction.
Automation can reduce the amount of work involved. It doesn’t eliminate the need to actually work.
Do You Need Marketing Experience?
Apparently not.

The company says the reseller fee provides access to the ability to earn commissions and the associated marketing system and tools.
However, GotBackup also advertises higher-level packages, including Pro and Enterprise options with different pricing and features.
So don’t assume that every reseller will necessarily be using exactly the same package.
Always check the current terms and pricing before purchasing anything.
How Does the GotBackup Compensation Plan Work?
The compensation plan is more involved than a conventional affiliate programme.
GotBackup currently describes several components, including customer acquisition bonuses, cycle earnings and matching, generations, dynamic compression, rank pools and leadership bonuses. Its opportunity page currently states a 75% payout allocation across the listed components.
In simple terms, there are potentially several ways a reseller can earn:

The second part will obviously appeal more to people who are interested in building an additional income stream.
But the product should come first.
That’s important.
People are much more likely to listen when you’re solving a genuine problem rather than simply telling them about another “business opportunity”.
Is GotBackup Worth Looking At?
If you’ve been looking for a simple online business opportunity, I think GotBackup is at least worth investigating properly.
Not because anyone can guarantee you an income.
They can’t.
And not because you should believe every big income claim you see online.
You shouldn’t.
It’s worth investigating because there is a real digital product addressing a real problem, combined with a reseller model and marketing infrastructure designed to make getting started easier.
The question is whether the product, the pricing, the compensation plan and the marketing system make sense for you.
